What we'll never make you do.
Most golf software tells you what it added this year. Here is the shorter, more useful list: the six things GolfGroupHub will not do to you or to your group.
We will never make your group download an app to play.
GolfGroupHub runs in the browser. iPhone, Android, an old tablet in the cart — if it opens a web page, it can score a round. Nobody in your group has to visit an app store, and nobody gets left out because they are on the wrong phone.
We will never charge you for your fifth player.
Groups are not billed by the head. Add the guy who shows up twice a year, add the guest your buddy brought, add the whole member-guest field. The price does not move.
We will never charge you for your second round.
A trip is not a single-use purchase here, and a season is not an upsell. Play once a year or twice a week — every round, every event, every standing is included.
We will never make a spectator create an account to watch.
Public event pages, shared leaderboards, and embedded scoreboards are open links. Your wife, your sponsor, and the guy who could not get the day off can all follow along without signing up for anything. Scoring is a different job from watching: at an event with PIN scoring turned on and the tee sheet published, your scorers post from a link and a PIN with no account — for a casual round, everyone entering scores signs in.
We will never claim to be your official handicap authority.
We do the math — course rating, slope, strokes distributed by hole index, net scoring across every format. We do not issue your index, and we will not pretend a number you typed in is a sanctioned one.
We will never sell you a rangefinder, a swing analyzer, or a tee time.
There is no distance laser in here, no swing-tempo score, no booking marketplace taking a cut of your Saturday. We do one job: the group, the round, and the season around them.
And one thing we will always do
Keep the season. Every round your group plays counts toward standings, handicaps, and a history that is still there next April. Built for the one who keeps the group together.
