Comparison
GolfGroupHub vs. golf trip scoring apps
Dormie is built for the buddies trip: one weekend, one iPhone app, set up fast. GolfGroupHub is built for the group that keeps playing after the weekend ends — on whatever phone each of them happens to carry.
Every claim about another product below is something that product published, with the source named. Nothing here is inferred, and nothing here is an opinion about anyone. Competitor facts were checked on August 4, 2026.

What we will not claim
Three things a comparison page is tempted to say, and why this one does not. Dormie publishes no format count, so we do not print one for them. Dormie publishes no user or revenue numbers, so we do not characterise the size of their business. And Dormie has never said they will not build leagues, seasons, or a web viewer — their published exclusion list names four other things entirely — so we will not tell you they cannot.
What they do better
They are faster to set up a single trip.
That is a real advantage and we are not going to argue with it. Our event flow does more — registration, payment, flights, brackets, tee sheets — and doing more costs setup time. If one weekend is the whole job, the extra structure is overhead you do not need.
They have a native iPhone app on the App Store. We do not.
GolfGroupHub runs in the browser today. That is what makes an Android friend a full participant instead of a spectator, and it is also why there is no App Store listing with our name on it yet.
Their marketing says one thing and repeats it. Ours used to say five.
One promise, on every surface, is a discipline worth copying, and it is the bar this page is trying to clear.
Which one is for you
If your golf is one weekend a year and everyone in the car has an iPhone, a trip app will do the job and do it quickly. If your group plays all season, if somebody carries an Android, or if the thing you actually run has registration and flights and a bracket in it, that is the job GolfGroupHub was built for. The list of things we promise never to do to you is on our promises page.
The scoreboard that never resets.
